HAPPY NEW YEAR/ PINK SATURDAY

WELL, HERE WE ARE AGAIN, STARTING ANOTHER YEAR AND BEVERLY IS STILL HOSTING THIS FUN DAY!  

 

SENDING YOU WISHES FOR A HAPPY NEW YEAR AND PRAYING IT WILL BE THE BEST EVER!

My projects for 2010 are:

1.Redo the master bath in our home.  This is going to be a major job, I want to change the location of the toilet , take out the tub and make a large shower, redo the cabinets and add tile everywhere.

2. Redo all of my jewelry “stuff”.  Put my beads in containers that are more user friendly and fix a craft place for all of my supplies.  My friend Sharon and I will do this, she is great at organizing.

3. Down size the “STUFF” in the Frou Frou house.

4.  Seriously lose weight.

My Main Project for the Next Several Months is to try and help my  (SISTER) friend, Sharon thru her radiation  treaments for her throat cancer.  She was recently diagnosed  and Wednesday the 30th we met with the Radiation Doctor and now have appointments with the oral surgeon, the chemo Dr. and then will begin 7 1/2 weeks of radiation.

She must travel about 75 miles one way each day and that alone is a task, but with help from family and friends, we will make it and make it standing on our heads.

We are two crazy ladies and with your prayers, we will be just fine and soon back on the road looking for thrift and junk shops.

SUNNY SUNDAY AND 17 BABIES

Roy and I went out to the pasture this afternoon the check on the goats, the babies and the feed situation and found babies everywhere.

Seventeen to be exact and they are all healthy and running and jumping.

I couldn’t get them all, but here are some of them.

New Babies/ Cold Weather/ Taking a Break

 

 

The Nannies always seem to wait until it is cold, raining,sleeting or snowing to start having babies.

It is cold and has been raining and we now have 12 babies.

We got three rolls of hay and there is feed in the bulk feeder, so that is all we can do.  I worry when I see those little babies out in the cold following their mothers, but Roy says that is how it has always been and they will be fine.  I would like to bring them all in the house and keep them warm….lol.

Roy is headed to Llano to go hunting today and Sharon and I are headed to College Station to a new doctor for her and her very painful and long lasting sore or ulcer way down in her throat.  We must find out what is wrong and how to cure it.  She is suffering, unable to eat or sleep, and losing weight.

I am way behind in everything, Christmas, balancing check books, straightening Frou Frou house,  taking food to charity, stuff to Goodwill, wrapping packages and mailing Christmas cards.   I don’t even have a tablescape for tomorrow!

SO  WITH ALL THIS SAID, I AM  TAKING A BREAK!

Pink Saturday/ Favorite Thing

 

 

Beverly at How Sweet the Sound is again hosting Pink Saturday with a new twist…..run over there and see the looooong list of Pinkies.

Very shortly after Roy and I married the first Christmas thing we bought was a Nativity and it has a special place in our hearts.
