Tea Time and Tea Party Tuesday!

 

Today, I am joining Tea Time Tuesday with Lady Katherine Tea Parlor.  This is her first one, so please go and visit and check out all the tea parties going on.

I purchased this Teaposy  at Beadboard Upcountry in Brenham, a while ago and have not used it lately.

I thought it would be interesting to show for those who are not familiar with them.

 

This is the teaposy, you place in the teapot and add boiling water, wait about 3-6 minutes.

This is the teaposy opened.

Now we have tea.

Blue Monday and It’s so Very Creative

I have been making Easter banners without my friend Sharon, she is in the hospital right now, please pray for her.

Since I wanted to make a few to send to people, I have tried to get an early start.

 

 

I cut these rabbits out of card stock and glitter then with white, made the letters out of card stock, using my new “Circut”…..my Roy bought me this as a surprise.

This one is for my daughter, she isn’t a big decorator, so I try to send a couple of little things she can put up fast and take down.

I DON’T HAVE MANY TEA POTS AND SO I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THE VARIETY OF POTS FOR SALE.  HERE  ARE SOME BEAUTIES  I FOUND .

OF COURSE, I LIKE THE ONES WITH PURPLE FLOWERS, BUT THERE IS A SPECIAL ONE.

THIS IS A JAMES SADLER TEAPOT, THEY ARE MADE OF FINE BONE CHINA AND DEPICT ENGLISH HISTORY. THEY ARE COLLECTOR TEAPOTS.

THIS ONE IS FROM HIS COLLECTION “ COTTAGES”  AND IS NAMED  WYSTERIA LODGE.

A Western Vignette for Table Tops Tuesday

The horseshoe napkin holder..I welded and painted…it was my first time to weld alone.  I have since made a horse shoe wreath, but I need to paint it.

 The belt buckle is an authentic Texas Ranger Belt Buckle.  The round item lying on the knife with Hilbrich showing was made by inmates in Texas.

The Indian carving was purchased at the Star Drugstore in Galveston.  The owner’s Aunt does the carvings.
