  5. We've all seen women like that at Wal-Mart. Will have to read more of your blog. I'm intrigued by the title. A couple of weeks ago I did a post about the goat lady who lived near the town in Arkansas where I grew up.

  6. The last photo shows the chick that will definitely NOT win the Human Mother of the Year award!! A very sad photo. I actually wonder WHO took the picture and if they tried to intervene in any way for the child?

    Certainly, a thought provoking post.

    Happy WW! Dana

  19. DEAR BARBARA,
WHAT A SWEET, SWEET POST BUT NO BABY GOATS.
THAT LAST PICTURE WOULD NOT GET A MOTHER OF THE YEAR AWARD AND I AM SURPRISED SHE DOESN'T HAVE A MUG SHOT...THAT IS A VERY GOOD WAY THAT CHILDREN GET A SPIRAL FRACTURE WHICH IS DEAD GIVE-AWAY FOR ABUSE.
I LIKE WHAT MAJORIE (MOLLY) SMITH SAID....ANIMALS TAKE BETTER CARE OF THEIR LITTLE ONES, THAN SOME PEOPLE DO.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY BEAUTIFUL LADY. I KNOW IT MUST BE SAD FOR ROY WITH SUCH RECENT PASSING OF HIS MOTHER. I KNOW WE ARE ADULTS BUT THE CHILD WITHIN US WILL ALWAYS MISS OUR MOTHER...and I am blessed to still have my mother living.

  22. My first thought was what Molly said, it's a shame that ferocious wild creatures take better care of their children than some humans (and I'm using the term loosely). I keep hoping that this was photo shopped somehow, but sadly, probably not. But your furry critter pix are adorable. Kathy
