  10. Great shots! When I got in my car after work yesterday the thermometer read 108!!! As I drove, it dropped down to 102 and I went, thank goodness. Thank goodness for 102 in June? The heat must be getting to me. Kathy

  13. Howdy Barbara
Thanks for the post about our heat
    here in Texas.
What a hot start to summer.
My poor sunflowers and lantana are showing signs of heat stress.
These have always done so well in the past.
I think it was all the hot wind we had to go with the scorching sun.
Have a wonderful rest of the week.
Happy Wordless Wednesday to you :)
    Try to stay cool sweetie.
    Happy Trails
    Hugs

  14. Hi Barbara, scorch, that's hot. I am glad to be in our mountain home once again. We do have the air on but it is only in the high 70's. Love your wordless photos. I have such a hard time being wordless. Big smile.

We arrived home late Monday night safe and sound. Thank you for your comments and safe travel wishes. We didn't have a single hitch in six weeks of traveling. We are surly blessed. I am loving my bed and pillow. LOL.

How do your goats take this heat? Poor things.

    Stay cool.

    Hugs...Jeanne

  18. Dana,
Don't know where you are in MO but I am here too and the humidity is about to kill me. HOTTTTT! and Humid! Heat index over 106 here.
Drink plenty of fluids, and make sure to give the critters electrolytes in the water buckets!

  19. Barb,

I feel for you. It is pretty bad here in the Midwest also. Instead of dry and hot, it is humid and hot. My hair is soaking wet after about a half hour outside!!

First all the rain, now the heat!! Stay indoors, drinks lots of water and hopefully it will cool off, 90 would be great, huh?!!

    Happy Wednesday! :-)

    xoxo
    Jane
