Blue Monday/ I am Brain Dead!

download[2] Thanks to Smiling Sally for her continued sponsoring of this day.  Please drop by to see all the other participants.

I usually love Blue Monday, but I think the heat has finally gotten to me.  We have had weeks of temperatures over 100 everyday. My grass and plants are dying, even though I am watering day and night.  My goats are losing weight and they have plenty to eat.  Pilgrim the guard  dog has lost weight. Wow, we need 10 inches of rain and a break in the weather…. and I have nothing but 1 picture for Blue Monday and that really makes me Blue.

In Jasper on our Father’s Day weekend from Hell, I found Roy another painted horse for his collection and it is blue.

So this is my meager contribution to Blue Monday.

Happy Blue Monday to you and Purple Hugs.

Oh Barbara I feel your pain, we finally got some rain last week after 31 days of over 100 temps. We watered and watered but it just isn't the same as God given rain. I like your blue horse it is so finely detailed.

Love that painted horse! What a unique idea. I'm 50 and still like to play with plastic horse figurines. LOL!

Here's wishing you some relief from the HEAT and the DROUGHT...if I get any rainclouds out here I'll tell them to save some back and to go on east to you...

I have to move to your place so that I can lose some weight!

I'll take meager; I'll even take feeling BLUE! Happy Blue Monday.

Oh, Dear One! I too understand about the heat! It's just awful here and I try to stay indoors because the heat makes me feel so bad. I'm going thru the "M" word and I don't do heat very well! :)
Your blue horse is a beauty!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)

The horse is so pretty. 100!! Yikes. We are suppose to have 90's-- but it is a dry heat. I am looking forward to cooler temps too!!

I feel for you! It has been 104 or 105 here for a few days and they say it will continue. Each morning I'm out watering for a couple of hours just trying to keep things alive. This is the kind of summer I pray that we don't have!! It's so hard for people who have critters to feed and keep happy. You just might have to bring those little goats in the house!! Dare ya. :)

Well, that doesn't seem like a "meager contribution" at all - it's really lovely! Gorgeous blues for Blue Monday!

Yes, all my family back home in Central Texas have been having a hard time with the heat this summer. But up here in Virginia, we've had an especially wet, cool summer up to now. Seems like it's either one extreme or the other. Hope you get some cooler weather soon!

Hi Barbara, love the horse.

I hope you get a break in your weather. It is hot, hot here in Florida and probably most everywhere. Here's to Fall. Yes!

Happy Blue Monday.

Hopefully, there'll be a break in the weather. They call them the dog days for a reason. Your horse is lovely. Take care in that heat.

It hasnt stopped raining in Colorado Springs. I will try to send some of the rain your way because sunshine would do us good. I hope you beat the heat. Have a blessed week dear.

What a wonderful horse! Too bad you couldn't send some of that heat our way. I think this is our coldest summer on record so far! I guess it's hard to keep us all happy, eh? Happy Blue Monday.

Blessings,
Sandi
