Tablescape Thursday/This is a Rerun!

Last week I was so excited to post this tablescape, but I forgot to sign up, so I am posting it again this week.

Again I am so happy Susan is hosting this day, because I am just beginning to play with all my dishes. Visit her at Between Naps on the Porch.

036

I am not sure where the place mats came from, the chargers are from Wal-Mart, the white dish from Laurie Anna’s and the polka dot salad plate is from TJ Max. The black and white cones are from Hobby Lobby and the black napkins were found at Kohl's. My silverware is Golden Aegean Weave and the Crystal is from Joske’s many years ago.

038

The green and black glitter balls are Christmas decorations, the little green tree came from Laurie Anna’s at the Nutcracker Market. Sharon gave me one white pitcher and I bought the other at Hospice Thrift Center

037

The atrium was purchased on a trip to Crocket, Texas and the Candle stick in the background, I made.

039

The black and white hat box came from TJ Max for 3.99.

I love the colors. Black with green is always so pretty, especially when you use a lime or grass green. Just the perfect colors. Your dishes are awesome, and the cone for the napkin is fantastic. Everything is just lovely. Hugs, Marty

So many words came to mind when I looked at your table. It is whimsical, and yet the green evokes feelings of the garden. Love the black and white dishware.

Hello Barbara...

My friend, I'm so glad that you decided to rerun this fabulous tablescape...I missed it the first time around! You know...I have seen this beautiful color combination all summer and I just adore it!!! I have always loved black & white together...especially when it includes such pretty patterns like stripes, polka dots, and that gorgeous damask...but then...when you add that vibrant green into the mix...it just sparkles!!! I love it!!! What a beautifully set table!!! Love the pretty damask cones or tussie-mussies that you've used to hold the napkins...what a grand idea!!! You place settings are just gorgeous...so pretty and so festive!!! This is just a happy table! Love your atrium...I'm keeping my eye out for one...don't think make a fabulous piece to add to a tablescape? Love it! Really enjoyed all of that "eye candy" that you added to the centerpiece! You've just done a marvelous job, my friend!!! Congrats!!!

Warmest wishes,
Chari

You were asking about the lacy chargers...hmmm, not sure where Gloria got these but I know that when I had considered purchasing them...I found them online at a place called Uptown Baskets...here is the link.
