Our Fabulous Weekend at Le Shiloh Chateau

013

We spent the weekend in Union Grove, Texas at the Le Shiloh Shabby Chateau owned by Lee and her DH.

This is just one of the lovely sights that greeted us as we opened the door and stepped into this gorgeous place.  Please notice the H, Lee painted for and gave to us.

It smelled like heaven and there was soft music playing in the background.

There was a wine cooler with Asti, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered pretzels, kisses and a spa gift from my dearest friend, Sharon.

From Lee and DH, a wonderful cheese ball, crackers and all kinds of assorted  goodies.

Needless to say we were overwhelmed.

This is the rest of the beautiful table awaiting our delicious dinner that was served at 6:30 by Kimberly, Lee and  Kim’s DH.  Of course, I forgot to take a picture of the dinner, we were hungry.  Menu: lasagna bread sticks, salad, tea and cheesecake.  It was wonderful.

We settled in for a warm ( 7+ inches of snow on the ground outside) and restful evening.

Is this not an inviting sight?

I could go on forever talking about all the special touches and how wonderful this Chateau is……..I think you got the picture now…we had a wonderful weekend  in a gorgeous place.  Roy said I have taken him to may B&B’s, resorts, etc., but this was by far the most unique place with so many personal touches and a feeling of complete relaxation.

Thank you Lee, Kimberly and both DH’s for a unforgettable weekend.

What a fabulous place and my oh my, (what fabulous inspiration for a B. and B. owner, such as my hubby and I as well; (I'll have to show him these lovely pictures)!..,

Sounds like you had a marvelous time!

Thanks for sharing your concern and please do not be further confused my dear with the two different names with similar themes; and no it's not to late to partake with, Wednesday tea for Me and Thee!..,

Tuesday Tea For Two, is specifically named for and based upon my own piece of original artwork depicting two kitties sharing aftrenoon tea.~ (The image on the left side bar of Tuesday Tea For Two button on the Plumed Pen blog, at the top of the page)..,

Whereas, Wednesday Tea For Me and Thee, (of a different name and day), is based upon a Wednesday tradition that a friend and I have shared for many years now of sharing tea on Wednesday..,

So sorry for any confusion, yet they are two separate enities, if you will, with two separate names, yet the same theme of tea..,

Much like a blog solely devoted to tea, (yet as in my case, I do choose to blog about other things also when the fancy strikes me however); in as much as, my blogs features tea twice a week..,

Hope this helps my dear!

I would be delighted and honered to have you partake1! Tickled Pink!..,

Cheers, hugs and blessings from Wanda Lee @ The Plumed Pen
