This is my first time to participate in Outdoor Wednesday, so I thank Susan at A Southern Day Dreamer for allowing me share these pictures.
This is a map or our float trip down the Colorado river from Glen Canyon Dam to Lee’s Landing.

This is Glen Canyon Dam.
It was a 3 hour drive one way to get to the Dam to begin our 4 hour float which included a narrated trip and lunch on the shore. Our guide was very informative and she made our trip very interesting. Although it was a long day…starting with a 6:15 am pick up, we returned home about 6:30pm, we still recommend this trip. There was a lot of sun, but we had great sun screen so we were not burned.

Barbara, I loved cruising the river with you and seeing the dam. Thanks for taking us along on your trip, and I enjoyed the music you picked for our journey. Glad you joined the OW gang! :-)

That's an interesting view for me since we spend our days on the other side of the Glen Canyon Dam with our boat. I might have to try that excursion sometime!
