Well, it has been a while since I blogged and even longer since I was here for Blue Monday……but Sweet Sally is here and has been here hosting this first day of the week and helping make it a great day.
Many thanks, Sally, be sure and visit her at Smiling Sally to find others showing Blue Things today.
This is the Gift Shop at Michie’s Tavern. We stopped here on our way to visit Thomas Jefferson’s home, Monticello.
I would like to take you inside and show you some Blue Thingies.
Some of the items were by Andrea by Sadek.
I was very tempted to purchase this rooster and now that I am home, I am sorry I didn’t.
Cute little fellow!
Another temptation. I did purchase some dishes but nothing in blue.
Hope you have a great Blue Monday!

Hi sweet friend!
I'm sorry you've been having computer problems. No fun, I know.
Love seeing all the pretty blue "eye candy".
Hugs!

Hello Pretty Lady,
I loved all your "Blue" you showed photographs of and I will take the Rooster please....just box him up and send him on....lol....I bet you do wish you had purchased him. Did you find any painted horses for Roy?
The gift shop looked like a warm and cozy place to visit on a rainy day.
Thank You for sharing part of your vacation.

How quaint the store is. I must say I like the cake dish and the rooster the best. But they are all pretty. It would be hard to resist in a store like that.

O, I am wanting that blue and white rooster!!
Cute rooster, Barbara! I'm glad you got him. I think my trunk would have had some blue plates, too. I like Andrea/Sadek dishes. They do an excellent job of copying more expensive patterns for affordable prices. Can't beat that! He currently has some dessert plates I would love to have.
Happy Blue Monday and thanks for taking us on a tour of this cool shop!
XO,
Sheila :-)
Barbara, I am drooling over all of that blue and white. Now, I don't have a rooster, but I'd sure have that one if I had been in that store. Then again, is the price on the cake plate $78.99... I might have to pass! You've brought some pretty BLUES to show us today. Happy Blue Monday.
I couldn't be trusted in that store. The blue and white china is just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos with us. I hope you are having a great day.
Lovely store with so much breakable stuff, I would be extra careful If were in that kind of place. They have lots of pretty display. Thanks for sharing
Hi Barbara, I love the blue, but unfortunately, I have nothing in blue china. I love the rooster the best! Nice to see you back bloging again.
Oh my, those blue and white dishes are GORGEOUS! And so is the rooster! What a fun trip you must have had. Thanks for sharing.
Ohhhhhh, I would have had to have that rooster, too! All those lovely blue and whites. My favorite!
Have a great week. I'll be back!
xoxo

Hello Barbara! I was so happy to have you stop by for a visit this morning.
What great photos. We've been there also...and you know what? It was a rainy damp week we traveled around the area too.
Such pretty dishes. I never buy blue anything. I don't know why. I love the color, it just doesn't fit in the current decorating scheme.
That store looks like lots of fun to walk thru.

Hi...glad to see you back!
What a cute store! I'm not usually a fan of blue but that cake plate is stunning!
I love that blue rooster!!! Glad your computer is behaving.
Oh, Barbara, HOW YUMMY....please just go ahead and send one of each...or more? :-)
Hugs,
Spencer
Stop by when you have time...I've passed along an award to you.
Hugs!
