I missed Blue Monday….so Today will be for me Blue Tuesday!

Yesterday was bridge lesson, shopping with the ladies and lunch, so I didn’t get my Blue Monday posted.   Maybe these pictures will explain everything. Pretend it is still Monday and this is mine.  Missy and Prissy are really growing, and yesterday we had 2 more babies, 1 boy and 1girl, their mother is call Ears, her ears are both folded up on the ends, she was born like that and they never unfolded.

LET ME EXPLAIN….I LOVE THOSE LITTLE GOATS AND WOULDN’T CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT THEM, BUT SUNDAY APRIL 26TH, THEY WILL BE ONE MONTH OLD. AND I HAVE TO BE REAL HONEST THAT MAKES FOR A LOT OF MEMORIES. COUNTLESS BOTTLES, PILES OF WET DIAPERS AND TONS OF SOILED TOWELS, MILES OF CARRYING THEM FROM THEIR PLAY PEN TO THEIR PLAY AREA OUTSIDE. AH YES THE JOYS OF MOTHERHOOD AND BEING A NANNIE, THE ONLY ABUSE I DO NOT HAVE TO SUSTAIN IS BEING BUTTED IN THE BREAST WHEN THEY WANT THEIR MILK FASTER. AS YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED IN THE PICTURE ABOVE, WE ALL HAVE BLUE BOTTLES .

As You can tell I started w/ a glass and after almost 30 days of Bliss together I now have my OWN BOTTLE.

Will I do it again, of course, they next time one looks like it needs help or the mother won’t take it.

St. Francis of Assisi (he was the Patron Saint of Animal)  said,

” IF YOU HAVE MEN WHO WILL EXCLUDE ANY OF GOD’S CREATURES FROM THE SHELTER  OF  COMPASSION AND PITY, YOU WILL HAVE MEN WHO WILL DEAL LIKEWISE THE WITH THEIR FELLOW MEN.”

HAVE A GREAT BLUE TUESDAY……..

Hi Barbara. Sounds like you are a busy nanny! I love the details of the goat raising and the quote by St. Francis. Perfect!

Awww, Barbara, how sweet they are! I didn't realize raising baby goats is like having real babies, complete with diapers! Do they think you're their mama and follow you around?

HELLO DEAR LITTLE "NANNIE"
HAVE YOU MADE A MEMORY BOOK FOR THE KIDDS.......EVEN 3 YEARS FROM NOW THAT MEMORY BOOK WOULD PROBABLY BE VERY LARGE
I AM SORRY I HAVE NOT VISITED AS MUCH BUT YOU ARE ALWAYS IN MY HEART AND PRAYERS.
WE TOOK AMY TO THE DR. MONDAY AND SHE IS DOWN TO 88 POUNDS AND HER WHITE COUNT AND PLATELET COUNT ARE STILL SO VERY LOW....MORE SHOTS....SHE IS JUST SAD BECAUSE SHE CAN'T DRIVE HER BEST FRIEND LEILA TO OKC ON WEDNESDAY FOR HER FIRST CHEMO TREATMENT....THE DR. WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE PUT HER IN THE HOSPITAL WITH HYPERAL THROUGH HER PORT-A-CATH BUT SHE SAID NO..............SHE WILL BE OKAY BECAUSE SHE IS IN GOD'S HANDS OF MERCY AND GRACE.
I HOPE EVERYTHING ELSE IS GOING WELL WITH YOU AND ROY. YOU LEAVE ME A COMMENT ANYTIME YOU NEED IMMEDIATE PRAYER.
HUGS TO YOU
DON'T GIVE THE WRONG BLUE BOTTLE TO THE KIDDS...HAHAHAHA

I never realized how much time and effort it took raising goats until I started reading your blog... raising cows and chickens is a little easier! (most of the time)...
