Tablescape Thursday!

TT

I hope I never get too old to play with dishes!

Time for Tablescape Thursday and thanks to our hostess, Susan, we all have a chance to play with our dishes.  Be sure you visit Susan and Between Naps on the Porch for a list of Plate Players.

The only problem at my house is, Roy keeps asking when he can eat at each tablescape I do.

This is my centerpiece.  It was made several years ago by my good friend Linda.  She is a sweetheart and I treasure it.

The gold dinner plate came from Great Indoors about 6 years ago, the green salad plate from Wal mart as did the napkins and the napkin rings.  The gold glasses came from the Great Indoors and I do not remember where the gold flatware came from.

313

I did 2 green salad plates with green and tan napkins and then on the other side of the table, I did burgundy plates and napkins.

309

I use the hurricane glass globe with the candle bottom and added candy corn, I have had the little bird houses used on the table for a long time and I purchases several bags of the earth tone jewels at Michaels.

This hurricane globe is smaller and I choose  a different bird house.  The little flower pots with berries and leaves are place card holders, I forgot the place cards.

The beautiful  tablecloth came from TJ Max, for the tremendous cost of 2.99.

I added a few votive candles and that completed by tablescape.

I would like to show you another area in my kitchen.

Barbara, Love your fall tablescapes! I have enjoyed your other tablescapes and your Purple Goat Lady title! The Scarecrow head centerpiece is just delightful! The candy in the glass looks so pretty, I looked at all your lovely pieces. We both love to mix colors for china.
We were in Waco this weekend, my son works for KXXV, K25. He will be on the friday night sports show presenting the story of the female football player from Nolanville. He is the cute young one, my belief! Thought this might in your viewing area.

Hello Barbara, it seems an age since I visited you. I was in Atlanta for four days and now it is Thursday already. My busy life gets to me sometimes. LOL.

Your table looks beautiful. I too love to set a pretty table. I do it often when company comes for dinner. Then I so busy cooking I forget to take photos. Your center piece is so festive as is everything you presented on your lovely table. I love the colors and your bargain tablecloth. I laughed when your dh asked if he will ever eat at your lovely tablescapes. Something mine would say.

Your kitchen decorations are so pretty. I need to be inspired to do things like that. I think you just inspired me. LOL.

Have a great day tomorrow.

Hugs xoxo, Jeanne

I enjoyed your table. I did my first one this week. I had to laugh because my husband came in from work to the table set, the candles burning and no dinner made. He had that "what's the occasion" look on his face. He'll get used to it!

Oh, how pretty, Barbara. It just gets prettier and prettier with each picture.

I love your centerpiece, and your idea of putting the candle in the candy corn. I'm going to get some at Kroger's this morning and do that (if Avery Grace doesn't eat the candy corn first!).
