HAPPY NEW YEAR/ PINK SATURDAY

Pink_Saturday

WELL, HERE WE ARE AGAIN, STARTING ANOTHER YEAR AND BEVERLY IS STILL HOSTING THIS FUN DAY!

SENDING YOU WISHES FOR A HAPPY NEW YEAR AND PRAYING IT WILL BE THE BEST EVER!

My projects for 2010 are:

1.Redo the master bath in our home.  This is going to be a major job, I want to change the location of the toilet , take out the tub and make a large shower, redo the cabinets and add tile everywhere.

2. Redo all of my jewelry “stuff”.  Put my beads in containers that are more user friendly and fix a craft place for all of my supplies.  My friend Sharon and I will do this, she is great at organizing.

3. Down size the “STUFF” in the Frou Frou house.

4.  Seriously lose weight.

My Main Project for the Next Several Months is to try and help my  (SISTER) friend, Sharon thru her radiation  treaments for her throat cancer.  She was recently diagnosed  and Wednesday the 30th we met with the Radiation Doctor and now have appointments with the oral surgeon, the chemo Dr. and then will begin 7 1/2 weeks of radiation.

She must travel about 75 miles one way each day and that alone is a task, but with help from family and friends, we will make it and make it standing on our heads.

We are two crazy ladies and with your prayers, we will be just fine and soon back on the road looking for thrift and junk shops.

I am so sorry to read that your sister and friend, Sharon, has cancer. Your presence during her radiation will certainly help give her strength to get through it. That assistance to her is a tremendous project for your New Year.

I hope you have a great Pink Sat. Dana

Hello, sweet friend,
You are going to be very busy in 2010. I admire you for all of your goals that you have set! I am praying for your sister that she will make a speedy recovery. I know she is very fortunate to have you and other family and friends to help her through this difficult time. I am so glad I have been able to meet you, my fellow Texas gal. I look forward to many more visits in 2010. Vicki

Happy New Year and a belated Happy Pink Saturday. Sounds like you have some noble goals there. Losing weight for me is the perpetual one! Your biggest project sounds like your biggest challenge. Must be difficult to have your sister be sick, but may you find joy this year with her and those drives back and forth to treatment. God bless.

Happy Pink Saturday and Happy New Year, Barbara.

I will pray for your friend. She is lucky to have you as a friend, and she will certainly need her friends on the say to her cure.

Good luck on your projects. I would love to redo our master bath, too, but I don't think it will happen this year.

Hi Barbara, One of my goals this year is to leave more comments over here at Purple Goat! I don't know why I didn't follow you before, but I do now!

God bless you and Sharon as you help her in her fight against this dreadful disease. Caregivers need prayers just as much as patients do!

I will keep you and your sister in my prayers, Barbara. I believe a positive attitude is a very significant part of fighting cancer, or any illness for that matter ... and you certainly have that. Keep your chin up and keep us posted on Sharon's progress.

Hi Barbara,

I have not had much time during the holidays to keep up with the blogspot or anything else. But I know that you won the giveaway from The Style Sisters and so I need your address so I can mail your chocolates to you.
I am so very sorry about your friend(sister) Sharon. I pray for her recovery and for comfort for all of you. Having just lost my son I know how difficult these times are but I know that the Lord knows you, individualy, and he will be there for you. I couldn't have gotten through the trial it without Him. Here's to a new and better year! You will be my thoughts and prayers. Joanie
