Dear Amy!

Dear Amy, I can only describe what happened yesterday thru scripture.  So many prayers and so much  love was sent to you and without love,we are nothing.  The Bible tells us:

I may have all knowledge and understand all secrets; I may have all the faith needed to move mountains—but if I have not love, I am nothing.  I may give away everything I have, and even give up my body to be burned—but if I have no love, this does me no good.  Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a records of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.   Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

Love is eternal. (1Corinthians 13:2-8)

Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope and love; and the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)

God bless and keep you, Amy.

We love you.

If you were unable to comment yesterday, please leave a comment for Amy today. I know she will enjoy reading them.

Thanks

Good Morning Barbara! I cannot begin to tell you how very excited I was to see the wonderful and blessed birthday wishes and prayers for Amy. They will read them today. Her appointment exhausted her and she so needed to rest by the time they got back to Enid. She now waits for an appointment for the test, to see if she can even have the surgery that she needs to beat this cancer. Please continue to pray for Amy, Debbie and her Dear Husband, Richard. They are all so exhausted, this process takes everything they have to get through each hurdle to win this race. I am going to try to print all of the comments, so that Debbie can make a scrap book for Amy. She thought she would love to sit and read them over and over. Barbara thank you so much for being such a wonderful friend to my sister, Debbie. You will never know how much each of you BLOGGER friends mean to her. She has been shut in for such a long time, and having her BLOG has allowed her to make friendships she otherwise would never have made. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are a beautiful Christian, and your halo just shines through each page that you write. Country Love and Hugs, Sherry

I thought of the I Cor. scripture just yesterday as I was removing some holiday decorations. The foil streamers had become so entangled around a post and I had no cutting implement with me. There was no way to pull it off. BUT, if I took one or two strands at a time they would break. Slowly piece by piece I was able to remove the whole thing.
So when we stick together, wrapped up with the Holy Spirit, we can't be broken.

Continued Blessings on this family,
Candy

I missed posting my birthday wishes for Amy yesterday, so a belated birthday wish today, and a most fervent prayer for her well-being.

We are all one family, God's children all, and it breaks my heart to know of the struggle this family is experiencing.

Love and prayers to Amy and her family -- Cass

I left belated birthday wished today on Debbie's blog for Amy. I just found her today, but will be checking in on the family often. Birthday wishes and prayers are with you. I understand what your family is going through, but know that God will bring you through this. I live not too far from Amy in Denison, TX,
Cyber hugs and real prayers headed to Enid.
