LAWS OF THE GARBAGE TRUCK/ BLUE MONDAY

download[2]

Happy Blue Monday …thanks Sally, visit Smiling Sally to see bloggers with loads of blue thingies……

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport.
We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out
of a parking space right in front of us.
My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other
car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head
around and started yelling at us.
My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was
really friendly.
So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined
your car and sent us to the hospital!'
This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the
Garbage Truck.'

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around
full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of
disappointment.
As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes
they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally.
Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their
garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the
streets.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks
take over their day.
Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets,
so ... Love the people who treat you right.
Pray for the ones who don't.
Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!
Have a blessed, garbage-free day!

Purple Hugs,

Barbara

PLEASE PRAY FOR AMY!

HI Purple Goat lady!!!
I have heard so many things about you and never have popped over for a visit, I'm new to blogging, started in Feb, and i never knew you could just pop over to other people's blog til I did it one day, and lo and behold I met several new friends all in 1 day, then before I knew it I made another new friend and so on and so on, I always say try and make a new friend every day wherever you go, say hi, how are you and MEAN it!!! Ask about them, where are you from, cause here in Az no one is from here, well I'm kinda from here, I was 4 months old when my parents moved here, but soon you have made someone's day, because I'm allowing them to talk and be heard and treated with respect and thus a new friend!!! Some of our favorite restaurants isn't the food, but the people who work there!!!!
Thanks for stopping by
hugs to you,
jamie

Good Morning Barbara!
I spent many hours Saturday night and early morning praying. I was trying to figure out what went wrong and when. She was so excited the day of the procedure, and we seemed to go down hill from there. I retraced things in my memory and I believe the Holy Spirit spoke with me, because I remembered Dr.Dexius the oncology dr. had been giving Amy samples of depression medication for 1 month. Then he gave them the prescription to get it filled. Well Medicaid will not pay for this medicine so they had to give her a generic form. Everything went down hill when they changed that medication. I believe it is having the opposite effect on Amy. It has depressed her so, she doesn't why she can't do anything. She just takes her meds and that is all. When I mentioned it to Debbie, she realized I was right, and she is going to talk to Dr. Dexius first thing this morning. He can maybe get her back on the other med with samples. She needs that other med. I am hoping I have hit the nail on the head. We shall see. Debbie will call me when they are finished at the clinic with Dr. Medina. So I will wait for the call, and if you want me to I will let you know. Last night Amy was talking like she might not want to go today, but I think it is just talk. Debbie said she thought so too. We shall see. Love Ya, Sherry

How true. It is so hard to do, especially while driving.

I also wish people would slow down. I don't understand how people can rush around so much. I like to talk to people when I am out and about, not rush, rush, rush.

Hi Barbara, I smiled when I read this. I posted it some time ago and I love the lesson it gives still. I read all of Sherry's comment and feel so bad for that family. I am praying for Amy and I won't stop until she is better. Thank you for the prayer reminders
